Good AFTERNOON, my name is Jonathan. My question is My wife has a friend who entered the US on a K-1 visa. She married her fiancé within the 90 day stated on her visa, her husband apply for her adjustment of Status and was approved. During this period due to not being happy with her husband short coming i.e.. Womanizing.. she filied for divorce and it was grant... she departed the U.S. and return to her home country. One week after her depature her GREEN CARD arrived via mail. Her now ex-husband.. retain the card for serveral months. He travel to her native country to talk to her to return to America... she and ex-husband return to the US and entered with her GREEN CARD. She is very upset and nervous about her legal status. WHAT DO YOU ADVISED?
