I live in an apartment, so can't wire in a timer, so have been trying to find a timer that I can plug in to the 220V line, then plug my window A/C into that. I can't find one either locally at hardware stores, or on line. Suggestions?

See HB114C Also make sure it will take the current draw.
time clocks, wall timers, plug in timers, electronic timers, time clocks, in wall timers, photo cells
Thank you very much. Exactly fits the bill.
Shop around for price and there are many other brands to choose from also.
Amazon had this timer for just over $22 including S/H, so I ordered it from them. They even beat the Intermatic website!
Good deal just be sure the contacts in the timer will handle the current flow in amps or Watts. Usually they will and a timer makes it a more useful machine.
How about a 50 - 60 amp 240v heater for a swimming pool. The plug loos like a crows foot O

Anyone have a idea?
