    Timesheet in excel
I am trying to do a timesheet in excel. When I try to type in numbers in the cell, but they only show up on the formula bar on top( next to the fx symbol). I need the numbers to go into the actual cell boxes. Can anyone tell me how to do this? Thank You.

Click twice in the cell then type what you want.

There isn't any reason a number shouldn't show up in the cell as exactly that: the number you typed. Excel knows that it's a number. Unless of course you are doing something in the cell before typing the numbers, but I'm not sure what you'd be doing that would make it not show up in the cell. Everything you type shows up in the cell - if it's a formula or something it would calculate once you hit Enter.
