2009 honda civic has no power
I have a 2009 honda civic. It starts and the lights and everything come on, but it won't move when I step on the gas pedal. It has no power when I step on the gas.

    Thoughts:

. Check for diagnostic trouble codes.

. Check the Crankshaft Position Sensor.

. Check/replace the Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) Sensor, which affects fuel injector pulse width. The ECT Sensor is a temperature dependent resistor (thermistor), whose resistance decreases as the engine coolant temperature increases. It provides a richer mixture when cold, leaner mixture when hot.
