Been a revert to Islam close to 5years now been in love with a particular girl for almost as long.
Her father however refuses stating without even talking to me that my Islam can not be genuine stating that after I marry her I would change back to Christianity.

This has put a lot of strain on our relationship

Now I really do not know where he comes up with this falsities... but it hurts a lot.

Why should I be accused of such?
True people do this but it has to be in agreement by both partners.

How do I change back whilst she remains a muslim?
Lets live me out for now, if I do this she would never trust me again.
... for the rest of my married life I'll be coming home to a woman who does not trust me.
Would this still be a marriage?

Please help!
I'm truly hurt, false accusations... an unhappy relationship.
