    Breaking lease agreement Florida
My son, in the Navy, has been transferd to Jacksonville. He found a rental home on the internet he liked and signed a lease agreement based on the information provided. After physically inspecting the home he has learned the rooms are smaller than represented, and there are several material issues with the home. He wants to get out of the lease and get his first month payment back. He has not occupied the home. He was told a residential lease agreement in Florida requires the signature of two witnesses. The lease agreement he signed doesn't included witnesses signatures.
Is this lease legal and binding? Can he get out of the lease? Can he get his money back?

First sorry, he did what? He rented a place without ever even going into it?

He should have a copy of all the internet advertisement, take photos and list all of the differneces.
Then he can sue for his money back.

It will be up to the court to make the choice.

As he tried talking to the landlord to see if they will let him oit of the lease? Who told him the lease requires two witnesses? I've actually never heard of a rental lease that requires withnesses at all.
