    Typical side effects of thrush are localized reddening, stinging sensation; formation of blisters and associated effects of peeling, swelling and itching; hives (raised itchy lumps); or a burning sensation at the area where applied.

    But... on second thought, swollen lymph nodes usually alert your body to infection. So in your case this may be happening because of the thrush which is compromising your immune system. Have you seen a doctor yet ? You may need something to give your immune system a boost.
