So I been friends with this girl for a few years. We hung out here and there, nothing happened, just as friends, I just got out of a relationship so I didn't really hang out with her when I was dating someone else.

A couple years ago we went out got drunk and cuddled through the night. We hung out few times after that but it was normal, friend like.

Just recently we went out to eat watched a movie cuddled a bit, and I invited her to stay over but she had to get back.

We had plans to kind of hang out this weekend but I text her to see if she was interested in coming over last night. She replied via text and said she would call me later. But she didn't.

Sometimes I see this girl as being flakey but then again I don't know.

I guess I'm interested in this girl but not sure her stand on it.. any tips?:cool:

You can simply ask her out... you got nothing to lose really. She may think you are only "friendly" as you think she is only "friendly". Get some balls and ask her to date you, tell her you want a real date.

Since I am not sure how long your healing was, or if in fact your ready for the real world of dating, I would let her call you, while you continue to do your own thing, and maybe pursue dating others, for friends, and fun.

I would hate to have you hung up on this flakey female, and hurt yourself over what could be nothing. Especially given your not even sure of what you really want to do.

She will probably call you for the weekend, even though she couldn't make it that night. Wait and see.

A missed date between friends does happen, especially if it was unplanned. I honestly think its still early, so don't trip to hard on what you think is a set back, maybe she is just enjoying the getting to know you better, so leave it at that for now.

I don't think she is ready for overnight cuddling though, or a real romance.

If she likes it the traditional way, then she is letting you take the reigns on this one. Maybe she is waiting for you to make the move, maybe she just sees you as a normal friend... you will never know unless you try.

Haha I said no because I had prior engagements, and I wasn't going to break it off for a girl, let alone a flakey girl. So I think we may tonight, I don't know I left it in the air but I figure if I don't text her today and say dinner.. then she'll probably forget it.

How do I not respect a girl if I call her flakey.

I call her flakey because she is hard to read, and only seems interested sometimes. Tonight we are going to go out to eat, as she asked if I wanted to and I responded if she was asking me out on a date. Then she said be here at so and so.

So we'll see where this goes. Aiyerrc maybe you are right she is looking for me to make a move.

But again in no way did I mean any disrespect to her by calling her flakey.

Just not sure if she's interested, I can't get a vibe with the past posts I explained.
