Trying to conceive and getting discouraged
Hi, my husband and I started trying to have a baby about 3 months ago, and so far haven't been successful. I'm only 21 and I it about 3 days before I expect my period I'm hoping maybe this time I'm actually pregnant my breasts are sore, and my back is very achy, and I've had so bouts of nausea but the sore breast and back are pretty typical before my period... I'm just getting a little discouraged and was wondering if anyone had any advice that could help us out.. thanks -ash

You've only been trying for 3 months and you're already getting discouraged?

It takes the average couple anywhere from 1 - 2 years to conceive. You could try buying an ovulation kit that will help you pinpoint the days that you are more likely to conceive.

Sadly the only advice there is is to have sex when you're ovulating. No doctor in his/her right mind will even consider doing tests on you after only 3 months.

Good luck and baby dust your way.

Fyi, it took me 7 months to conceive with my son and 10 months with my daughter.
