I drive a Honda civic year 1992 EX. Today while driving my brake light came on and would not turn off. Soon after that my ABS light came on. When I turned my vehicle off and then back on the brake light was still lit up and then after driving a little ways my ABS light came on again. What are the reasons for this?

If you haven't been changing the brake fluid every two years, you may have developed corrosion in the ABS. My father hadn't been changing his brake fluid in his Camry regularly and got the repair bill of his life yesterday--well over $2,000. Before doing anything else, make sure the master cylinder reservoir is full. Second, remove and clean the ABS sensors with a spritzled rag. If the problem persists, take the car to Honda for servicing. They will attach a code reader for the ABS codes that were thrown.
