Is there a formula to obtain the mass of a plant?

I don't know of any... perhaps you are asking about the dry mass of a plant.

You have to put the plant in an oven to remove all the water.

You weigh the plant before and after removing the water.

Then, the dry mass is said to be:

Dry mass = Total Mass - Mass of water
