    Stop tap not shutting toilet off
    Having tiles in bathroom replaced so need to remove toilet.Stop tap is turning water supply off to everything in house except this one downstais toilet that tiler needs to remove.What can I do?

    Are you closing the small stop directly under the tank or closing the house main line?
