    Keliod on nose piercing
Ive had my nose pierced now for over a month, it was fine to begin with and I cleaned it regually with the sollution that I was given. After 6 weeks of having it in I was able to change it to a smaller stud which was much better than the one I had in. I continued cleaning it with the solution but then changed to using salt water. The piercing itself seemed to be fine apart from the swelling on the inside, this went down after a week of so of the stud being changed. I caught my stud on my boyfriends hood and the stud fell out and bled, after this I noticed that the lump had appeared, I carried on cleaning it but the lump still stayed.
I phoned a local tattoo parlor and they told me to go in to get it looked at, the tattooist said it was cartalidge because I had had it pierced with a gun, he told me to use rock salt on it and a hot flannel twice a day, and to change my stud to a titanium stud. I don't have a titanium stud so I am currently wearing a gold one which I am not allergic to. The bump did disappear after a few weeks, and I missed about 2 days of cleaning it, I woke up in the mornin to find the lump had come back and was bit bigger than last time. I don't mess with the stud as much as I used to, the only time it is ever touched is when I clean it, and in the mornings when I wake up to see if it is still in my nose.

Is it a keliod or the cartilage? Because I am getting very paranoid that it will grow larger and cover my nose.
