You don't need to be fat- being overweight, is just as unhealthy as being underweight, you could need to gain weight. I too was severely underweight at one point- the doctor told me to eat a lot of protein. I had 2 cups of peanuts, and a couple protein breakfast shakes a day to help me gain weight.

Like I said, peanuts and most any kind of meat is high in protein. Make yourself some homeade smoothies and shakes, or get those shake mixes at the store.
Its too easy.. have small small meals everyday... not have big meals...
