    Sch 40 vs sch 80
I ask a local Ace hardware supplier about using Sch 40 vs sch 80 on a soccer goal main suppport member. He said use sch 40 because it will not flex as much as sch 80. This sounds backwards to me since the pipe thickness is more on the sch 80. Who is right?

Schedule 80 will be thcker and therfore won't flex as much.

Remember that there are furniture fittings too and UVR fittins which are more reistant to UV light. PVC Furniture Fittings, Buy 3-Way Side Outlet Elbows, 4-Way Side Tees & 5-Way Side Crosses Online

USE the UVR fittings when exposed to direct sunlight.

But even with Schedule 80 - do you really think this is the correct material of choice for the goal support ? It is plastic and it will bend when exposed to sun.
