I've been dating someone & we recently had sex for the first time. This happened Friday. Sat night I started having a deep severe itch. An inside itch not at all on the outside. This continued until today (mon) I was having lunch with my mom, I went to the bathroom & what seemed to be a uti (I've had them in the past) started suddenly. Frequent urination, feel like I have to go again as soon as I'm done. Pain when I urinate& blood. There was more blood then I've had in the past but I'm due to start my period so I didn't know if the blood was my period or the uti. The blood has lessened now but I'm very concerned. Is it unusual to have a yeast infection& uti at the same time? I don't have any discharge. Just was itching not so bad now& some soreness which I assumed was from the sex because we had sex for at least 2-3 hours, maybe more. What should I do?

You need to go to the doctor to have this diagnosed and treated. Have the doctor also check for STDs.

I heard that stds don't show up right away. Is that false info? I called the dr today. I have no insurance but I could go to a woman's clinic tomorrow. Thank you.
