Motion to Vacate the Judgement.dekalb county, Georgia
I entered into a consent order based upon the judge's opinion of the meaning "substantial" how do I vacate the consent order and have the judge rule on the matter.
We are tenants in a foreclosed home, we have a lease to pay $600/mo that we signed in June 2009, the foreclosure was 11/5/09 the judge we were not bona fid tenants because he felt the $600 was "substantially" less than fair market rent.

Since the foreclosure would basically cancell any written lease I don't see why it really matters??

But if the normal rental for that area is 2000, then paying 600 is not substantial"

You will have to prove that similar homes in your area are renting for @ 600 dollars.
