    Wiring humidifier and humidistat
I have a he360a honeywell humidifier and a h8908b humidistat. If I plug the 120v cord into a outlet can I just run two wires from the humidistat to the humidifier. Would that work properly. The bow that the humidifier came with was open an didn't have all the directions. Could you tell me how to wire it.

Is this a stand alone humidifier or is it one that you install in the duct system.?
If it is a stand alone that is probably all that you have to do to make it work. But if it is one that goes into the duct work I feel like it will have to be wired into the fan control of the heating cycle of the furnace. Let me know how it comes out.
