    Janitorial bids for Doctors office
How much would you charge a doctors office with 2 full time doctors and another there 3 days a week? Cleaning would be 5 days a week. 2 employees about 2 hours a night.

It depends upon the country you are in.!

Let us assume it is in SYDNEY AUSTRALIA.

    1) LABOUR 20 hours @ $40 = $800
    2) CLEANING MATERIALS ** = $100
    3) OVERHEADS***********= $100
    ______________________________
    4) TOTAL *************** = $1,000.
    5) Add MARGIN OF PROFIT *= $ 400
    ________________________________
    6) Weekly Total ***********= $1,400

40 bucks an hour is a lot for a janitor..
    Try like 10-20

What is over head? The price to submit the bid? (shouldnt be one) margin of profit? I guess you are not going to clean yourself? Just make as much as the people working and you doing nothing? Is that what that is?

I'm confused by some of your calculations

    Hi, FreeSandy!

I'm surprised that Stringer hasn't responded to your thread yet. I'll let him know about it. He owns a very large janitorial/cleaning company in the Chicago, IL area. His advice is as good as gold and second to none!

    Thanks!

FreeSandy, can you please tell me how much square footage there is to clean each night? How many exam rooms, treatment rooms, nurse's stations, etc. And is there an x-ray or lab in this area?

$20/hr is about right because of the General Liability, Worker's Comp and Bonding. Not to mention the overhead costs, gas, time and travel. This is an under apreciated business and we have to continue to educate our clients on the benefits of having a professional company do the cleaning. The lowest rate would be at $15/hr, and that barely covers the overhead. If the job is not done properly, then the Dr. will get complaints and will loose patients because of an un-sanitary environment. If the office is kept immaculate, that only reinforces the Dr's reputation.
