    What process or chemical reaction is capable of reactiting all gas components of air or at least majority of atmospheric nitrogen and oxygen to give an impression of a partial vacuum in the case of an enclosed vessel,excluding combustion.

    1. Absorption of gases into a zeolite (molecular sieve) is commonly used in laboratories.
