I have 2 wires comeing out of the wall one is white and one is red I hook them up but the boiler doesn't turn on

Hook one to R or RH and the other to W. If that does not work then hook the two wires directly together and see if it runs. If it does then there is a problem with the thermostat

If you can post a few pics of the boiler, it would help in determining what you have & probable culprits.
