    Salt pipe
My hubby and I are wondering about getting him a salt-pipe to help with his asthma - has anyone tried this and found it useful please?

A lot can be said for natural remedies. I would try it, it can't do any harm. Salt decongestants work wonders and can be used as much as necessary without harmful effects. I am only using that as an example of sea salt remedies.

Well we decided to order one as they're not too expensive if it doesn't work. We use a lot of natural products but I was just wondering if I could get any impartial testimonials. Going to send for in a day or two so it will come when someone is home. I hadn't heard about salt decongenstants so I guess that must work on a similar theory. Ty for your answer tickle.

Sorry I couldn't offer a testimonial for the system you want to use. The Decongestant I used was called HydraSense which is a saline solution for the nasal cavities. It is sprayed in and quite frankly, nothing else worked at the time and I was desperate from losing sleep with sinusitis. I suggest you Google 'saltpipe'. There is a lot of websites regarding this system.

I'm glad you found something that helped. I already googled and read about the theory behind salt pipes etc I was just seeing if anyone had any personal anecdotes. By sheer coincidence I was on another forum today which was just friendly chat when someone mentioned she had got a salt pipe and it was brilliant. Weird how when you're thinking about something it often pops up where you don't expect it. I have a friend who suffers terribly from sinusitis so I will mention the hydrasense to her. It's also good how sometimes when you are looking for something you find out something else really helpful that you didn't even know you were looking for. Thank you again.
