How to get lacquer smell out of furniture
I just refinished at a piece of furniture and sprayed krylon lacquer in a can as the finish coat. We have air it out but it still smells like a chemical. What can do to get the lacquer smell out? Can I spray something on it? Please Help!!

    Thanks bill

The scent will dissipate, just give it time. Nothing can be sprayed on it, it will destroy your finish. When furniture is refinished, this is one thing you have to put up with. You wouldn't want to be in a professional shop ! You can set an air cleaner by it, it may quicken up the process.

    Hi, billg22!

    Yes, time should help...

Do you plan to rub it out with anything, please?

    Thanks!
