I have been cramping very badly, to the point were I can't get out of bed or even have the energy to move cause it feels like someone is inside me twisting my ovaries and it makes me tear up. I was wondering if I were to go on Birth Control would that help with my very hurtful cramps...

Are the cramps when you are ovulating or when you have your period?

If it isn't period pain then it could be because you are ovulating.
I came of birth control and started to havea bad pain in my lower abdomen on one side tthis really worried, so I went to the doctors and she said it is most probably that I'm ovulating, so I went out a bought some cheap ovulation strips, and indeed I was ovulating! This helped put my mind at rest! :)

Also, I have a friend of has suffered with bad cramping due to periods for years, she went to see her GP because it was unbearable, and the doc put her on birthcontrol which has actually helped her and help ease the pain.

So I think its worth a try!
