Hey everyone. When I was 16 I was on Depo for 2 years. Stopped at 18, took 1 months worth of Ortho-Tri Cyclen and got my period back immediately, but stopped the Ortho because it made me CRAZY. Anyway I'm 23 now and I was only on one dose of Depo (3 months). I missed the follow up appt and haven't been on BC since but I haven't gotten my period since I stopped it which was in July and its now almost December. Is it normal for only having the shot once to not have my period for this long?

DP is notorious for mucking up menstrual cycles.

It can sometimes take years to a regular cycle back.

I only had two depo shots and took me six months to have a period and 8 months to have a regular period every month

Im in the same boat, took it in June and still can't get a period, I asked the forum if there is any way I can still conceive even though there is no period, since we are trying to have a baby, but no answer yet.

I am in the same boat! I got one dose in December. Then decided to change to the pill. It's been a month since my last shot was due and no period! I cramp sometimes but that's all. I wouldn't be complaining about my period coming back but I can't start my birth control pills until I start my period!
