Have a old 16 hp briggs and I have spark , compestion and gas but no fire what could it be thanks what is good compresion? It has breaker and points.

I gather this is an old cast iron engine with points mounted externally. I do not see how you could have spark but no fire. These older engines are sensitive to oxidation on the contacts and to correct gap (0.020") to work.
