    Composite resin tooth filler
I have a rear tooth that needs to eventually have a crown, in the interem it is filled aprox. 75% with resin wich is needing to be coated before it comes out. I can not afford to go to the dentist at this time, do to being out of work and to make matters worse I had a young girl rear end me a month ago. What can I use to keep this filling from coming out?

In most communities, there is a clinic that offers services for patients on a sliding scale for income. You could call your County Social Services Dept. or loook it up on the computer.

I doubt the state insurance would cover anything besides tooth extraction as they changed things lately because of the budget.

    Dentists are so expensive!

If the filling isn't loose just leave it alone. Be careful what you are chewing on that side, nothing hard or sticky. If the filling has already come loose you need to have a dentist replace it. Perhaps you could ask for a temporary filling, something to get you by until you can afford to do things properly. Just remember... temporary means it's not a permanent fix!
