    Pot for eye trouble?
"What is wrong with me?! This is so strange. EVERY thing I do makes my eyes hurt and feel "pressurized." Lifting any amount of weight, sitting down, standing up, lifting my legs, walking up stairs, reading, crouching EVERYTHING! It makes me feel like there is something pushing against my eyes, like they are about to fall out.

I've always been so, so worried about my eyes and going blind. I have tried praying to anything that would just make this stop! Ive slept days away. Sometimes I live with one eye closed or both half-open. As I'm writing this my eyes are hurting! I just came from lunch and as I was sitting and eating, it hurt. Like bending forward just a little bit would bring pressure. I'm wondering if this is all in my head because going blind is my greatest fear and my mind is f**king me up?? Whats going on? Please help me"

This is my problem. The only time I don't feel like this is when Im on weed. Now I don't have to be high ALL THE TIME but smoking it a couple times a week makes me feel chill-er and laid back and makes the eye pressure stop. Its gotten worse lately cause I haven't toked in a month. If I tried to explain this to a doctor would he be able to prescribe me medical MJ? Cause I don't think so. But it's the only thing that works. Suggestions?

    Hi again, guineapigging!

How about waiting to see what a doctor says before doing any self-medicating?

Also, please do refrain from posting even implied profanity on this site. If you post even implied profanity, then you risk getting your threads and posts deleted from the site.

    Thanks!

    Hi!

I will, I'm just curious about what a doctor would say to my suggestion.

Sorry! :) I forgot about that.

    Thank you

You need to see an eye doctor and skip the pot for now. You could have something seriously wrong with your eyesight or have an underlying medical problem causing the eye problems. Just because you get "relief" from the pot smoking it several times a week tells me that your eye problems may just "be in your head" if they magically clear up when smoking pot. Have your eyes properly checked out. Unless you live in a state where medical marijuana is legal you won't get it prescribed by anyone except your local pot dealer.

The doctor first would see what if anything your problem is.

After that he would look at various methods of treatment, since you can't stay stoned on pot all the time to "feel better" So after other possible cures they may look at other ways to solve the symptions

You are a pothead with an eye problem and want to use it as an excuse to get medical mj. It's not that easy. You need to visit an Optometrist/Ophthalmologist and see what the issue is.

Why would you self medicate with something as important as your eyes??

For heaven's sake, go to a doctor and get the problem professionally assessed and diagnosed. It could be really serious.

If you want to smoke weed and it makes you feel good, that's another matter. (It's hardly sustainable to do that for the rest of your life though!)
