Well me and my boyfriend have been going out for a year or a little over. And he just broke up with me but the thing is he has been talking to another girl and she plans on going out with him but all he tells me that he just needs to miss me but then when he talks to her he then tells me that he just wants to leave me and not come back and once again I fall for it and I go see him. Then we do stuff and hang out but he makes excuses to talk to her and excuses to talk to me. Now he is giving me a chance one more week and if it don't work then we can go our own ways. But he won't tell her that we are trying because he is going to loss his chance with her what do I do??

He wants to have his cake and ice cream too. He's playing you and keeping you both on a string - if you don't 'work out' he'll go back to her.

Take the initiative and dump him. Let him know there are plenty more fish in the sea and that he just lost you because he couldn't behave like a decent human being.

He's really not worth it. Leave him to the other girl.

This guy is a jerk. If he loved you, there wouldn't be any doubt in his mind that he wanted to be with you, instead he can't decide between you and this other chick? What a lousy boyfriend! You deserve better. Move on. If you decide not to, you are just setting yourself up for him to do this to you again in the future.

You are not an employee asking for a second chance.

Find a real man that will treat you with respect. Not some guy that thinks he can string you along.

The world is full of nice guys. Go find yourself one.

You've become his backup plan. If it doesn't work out with this new girl, he will come crying back to you.

I wonder how long it will take before he finds a third girl to experiment with.

Save yourself from more heartbreak and forget this guy. If he really cared about you, he wouldn't torture you like this. He would treat you with more respect.

Ahh... how uncomfortable are you? How much stress do you feel? Are you happy with this relationship? If not, then leave him. And while you're at it, gain some pride back. You're letting him call all the shots, have all the power... this relationship is going to end, don't you want to leave with your dignity still in tact? Tell the loser he can have her. You're not desperate. You'll be just fine without him.
