    Windows Movie Maker transfer
I have made a video using Windows Movie Maker and I have copied it to a CD. I am planning on showing the CD on a different computer... but when I play the CD on any computer other than the one I made the movie on the pictures and music don't show up. Help please!

Did you do the "Finish Movie" step and saved the movie in a Window format or did you just save and copy the project file?

That's why. Only a computer with Windows Movie maker can open that file. If you "Finish" the movie and copy *that* file (likely a .wmv) it can be played on any computer.

I tried to save the movie and a message came up that says Windows Movie Maker cannot save the movie to the specified location. Verify that the original source files used in your movie are still available, that the saving location is still available, and that there is enough free disk space available, and then try again.

I tried saving it to my hard drive and directly to a CD and got the same message both times.

That happened because you moved files you were using to make video
