Rheem pilot stay lit but wong ignite gas in the chambers
Rheem model rgld-1one-jr, ignitor model sp715-us17-15u. The pilot will stay lite but will not lite the gas in the gas chambers. Yesterday I turned everything off all night gas valve and t-stat when I got up ithought I would turn it on and listen for a while. So the pilot lights and the gas was supplied to the chamber for about 2 seconds and went off pilot still on waited gas was supplied to the chamber about 10 seconds later stayed on for about 6 seconds and the went off . But thi pilot stayed on but nothing elsr happened so I turned everything off and went to work. Got home pilot will ignite but nothing was supplied to chambers. Any help would be grateful.

I don't have an ohm meter but I do have ameter that reads volt. So I put the ground on the meter to ground and the other to the lead to the white wire that has a p under which I am keading that means power . That is the only one I got voltage on and yes it was 24 volts.

Do these look familiar? Sounds like a faulty ignition module (pic 2).

Yes that is my furnace. And I did a couple of test on the gas valve put a jumper from p to m and the burners ignited so I rulled out the gave valve and yes you were correct that is was the ignition control unit. I would like to thank you for the time you spent answering my question. It is nice to now there are people like you that are willing to help. Again thank you very much for your time.
