Sorry but I never finished previous question. I'll try to keep if brief. Unoccupied home, just replaced all the old gate valves after gas company said they are not getting pressure as they were going to hook up a new meter. They came back out and said pressure much better but still had a small leak somewhere. I need to test and pressurize the lines from where the meter connects, then do I use soap and water or is there a special liquid sold for this. What and where do I find this pressure gauge?

Dish soap and water seem to work as well as commercial gas leak detector. What are you using to pressurize the line and how much psi are you loading with? I think the plumbing code is 10 psi for 15 minutes.

10 pounds for 10 minutes is the standard but I was wondering where to purchase the pressure meter. I guess a plumbing retail shop? Don't really know.

10 psi for 15 minutes is code. You can get a gauge at any store that sells plumbing fittings like HD, Lowe's or Menards, hardware store too.
