Can I get out of a lease if my job requires me to move
    Hello,
Can anyone tell me how I can get out of a lease (in Ohio) if my employment causes me to move out of the area.

    Hello chef:

Nope. Sorry. See if your lease allows you to sublet. Your landlord is required to rent the premises as soon as possible to mitigate your losses, however. Let's hope he does.

It is very easy, you call up your landlord and negotiate a sum of money to buy out your contract. Some landlords will hold you to the contract details others may let you out because you are moving.

If you have been a good tenant and lived there a while, always on time, a lot of landlords will actually be nice and work with you.

Call them up and talk to them
