Washer makes a humming sound but won't spin and drain water. Motor wants to turn but won't turn all the way. Would it be the motor or tranny not engaging . Any help will appreciate. Thanks Luis

You may have something in your pump. If you do not have the water out yet you should take out as much as you can. Tip the washer back so you can access the underside. The pump is held on the front of the motor with 2 clips. Do not take the hoses off but take the clips off and slide the pump off the motor. Take a socket extension and put it in the motor shaft hole and try to turn it by hand. It should turn fairly easily. If it does not turn- have a bucket and slowly take the clamps off the pump and hose and clear the pump. Try this and try not to get wet.
