I am changing an old 100 amp service from the overhead to the panel.My question is what kind of wire do I come out of the meter pack with to the panel.
SE (Service Entrance) cable, which is aluminum, is widely used.
If the Main Disconnect is at the meter, 4 wire cable is needed between the meter/disconnect. If the Main is in the panel, then only 3 wire is needed.
