My wife is on probation in the state of Geroria. Her probation was transferred to Ohio. Her fines have been paid off. We would like to know if she can travel on vacation (going outside of the country to Cancun, Mexico) for a 7 day vacation?

Ohio will probably not allow her to leave the country even for 7 days - but you can ask for permission. It's not a good idea to just leave the US while on probation either as your wife will have problems gaining reentry into the US and more than likely be arrested at the airport coming back. She may not be able to leave either at the airport for that matter.

For Ohio, the answer is yes. She spoke with her PO and he stated that was fine, and to just submit a travel request. Thank you!
