Double-click on "My Computer". Click the "Tools" menu item and select "Folder Options". Click the "File Types" tab. Locate the HTML entry (and also the HTM entry) and make sure that a browser is assigned as the program to open them (Internet Explorer or FireFox.exe, for example)
