I hate my job, I absolutely hate retail and especially at this store. I've been working there for a month but so far I've only been scheduled to work once a week. My boyfriend tells me to stick it out because I need a job and something is better than nothing. But at 8 hrs a week, its just enough for gas and food to eat while working, so would it be insane to quit my job? I'm already on a job hunt and I don't know how long it's going to take.

While I can see your boyfriends point,doing something for 8 hours a day that you hate is not worth it... in my opinion.. you could use that time to be more productive,either a course that runs for one day a week or getting job applications or cold calling for work...

I think you keep your job while you find another one. Something is better than nothing.

Stay where you are now until you find something better. Can you ask for more hours at your present job?

Don't quit, until u find another job of your liking!
