Going to court for vop what are my chances
I have been violated by my p.o for a dirty drug screed (coke)
I have been on probation for about a year no other dirty screen
I've had one other screening by my p.o. that was clean
I've moved to a different county in n.j
Have not met with new p.o. yet
    I have court on dec.4th
My case is 3 felony charges 2 poss. 1 theft
I've enroled in an out patient treatment that starts dec. 1st
I'm also bring to court all money to catch up on rears in my payments
    Proof and letter from work
2 people to testify for my being better, emproving my life ,etc.
And some letters from people who can't be there with a good excuse not to be
I'm also going to start n/a today until out-patent treatment starts
    I will get that documented
    My question is
What are my chances that they will not lock me up on the fourth?

Detearmins on judge but I have been In similar sit anyway letters don't mean a hill of beans unless there from social workers cops judes or other "very important people" but can't hurt (mom doesn't count) relapse is a part of addiction If judge sees that you ARE doing every thing posable to stay clean then you should be cool remember addiction is a disease and addicts can't help but relapse it happens do you have employment are you a working part of society? Anyway go to health department or rehab even if you have to pay out of pocket and get documented CLEAN drug screens you can't do too much just to little but if your are doing good he should order you to cutinue with treatment depending on your past and what's over your head

Treatment program, judge will see it for what it is, after you were caught you are trying to make a good show

Bring up arrears ( that is the problem there was arrears until you got caught, now you are finding the money to pay, when you did not before, so what you were doing on probation before the violation is going to be very important to the judge.

Now it all helps but at the end of the day, the judges opinion on drugs, and the issue of over population in jail.

I would guess ( and it is up to judge) they allow you another chance after a long talk.
