    Taking fathers rights away
My son's father is a convicted felon with a criminal record a mile long. He has been in and out of jail or prison over the past ten years. He was in jail when I had my son and never signed the birth certificate. He also has a history with drugs and he relapses all the time. Is there any way I can get his rights completely taken away based on his criminal record and drug history? Please help me

Assuming and guessing this is in the US, not in Poland or Mexico perhaps. We have members all over the world that ask questions here.

In the US it will vary by state, many have rules that you can ask for their rights to be taken away because of long term prison sentence and/or criminal history. But some states don't have this as a option.

You need to find and talk to a family law attorney.
