Married 2 years, my name is not on the deed to the house. The house is in the name of my husband and his mother. Am I entitled to any kind of property settlement based on my financial contribution to the mortgage etc.

IF you can prove that you have contributed towards mortgage payments, you should be able to make some sort of claim. But this is normally an object of negotiation.
It is possible, what you do is ask for all you can get, actually ask for more than you can get. Normally you work it all out though negotiation.
You may be. Talk to your attorney for specific details. You may be able to compel your (soon-to-be-ex) husband (or so I presume) to pay you a cash settlement or to sell the home and give you a portion of the proceeds.
