Why do men in their pants, for no apparent reason?
    Hello...
I have got a weird, but drilling question...

My very good friend (like a brother) was having a tough time (in a break up with a loved one) and had threaten to take his life... so I went over to calm him down and reassure him that everything was going to be okay... well when we had sat on the couch.. he lent over to me and laid on my shoulder and started crying the next thing I know... I looked over and he had a stiff one... so I said "um..are we getting excited" heh he seemed a little embarrassed. But anyway on with what happened... he continued to cry on my shoulder and when I went to look over again... it had looked like he had in his pants...
Now I would understand if I went over looking all sexy. In my club wearing outfits... but tonight I went over in just yoga pants a sweater not emfasizing anything (boobs or butt) my hair was a mess and I had no make up on...
So why is it that men can in their pants for no apparent reason
Someone please get back to me soon..
    Thank you for your time

Why does it matter. Some man get erections because the wind blew the wrong way. It happens for no reason sometimes.

Who really knows. It does not really matter. Does it or are you afriad that this person would have feelings for you or think your sexy.

It could just be an emotional response to whatever this person is going through.

Why is it so important to know why/?

    Jesushelper is right!

A man does not have to be sexually aroused to get an erection.

Men get reflex erections during rapid eye movement (REM) sleep, which occurs during the middle and late stages of the nightly sleep cycle. Erections also can occur when men are afraid, angry, or totally stressed. If a man's prostate gland is enlarged, the pressure from the prostate (this organ, when stimulated, can cause feelings of sexual arousal) can result in an erection. In addition, when a person has a full bladder, the pressure exerted by the bladder upon the prostate gland can cause erections. Finally, if one uses drugs recreationally, such as ecstasy, which can increase one's susceptibility to sexual arousal, erections can happen!
