Had an I.V. For 3 days, it's was taken out over 7 days ago and now hurts to the touch and when I bend my wrist. The vein is hard for about 2 to 3 inches. Is this an ailment or is it possible they left something in there from the I.V.

You could have bruising hence why it is painful.
