    Where is the pilot light?
Where is the pilot light for the whirlpool dryer? I have no heat and see no flames anywhere.

Your dryer will have a pilot light if it is older than 20. The newer dryers have a glow bar. (The rest is assuming that you have a newer dryer because you do not provide a model number to referance.) There should be a square plastic cover near the bottom left side on the front. It just pops off. You should see a glow when the dryer is running.
Now to the problem of no heat. If you have no heat at all then you will need a thermal fuse. Access from the back panel. Left side 2/3 way down. White with 2 wires going to it. If you have heat but only at the start of the cycle the you may need gas valve coils. Access from the front.
