    Missed Periods, Not Pregnant
    Hi,
I am hoping someone can give me some advise as I feel like I am going round in circles here, nad beginning to drive myself crazy!
I have missed my last two periods. The first period I missed (due Oct 12th), I experienced a brown discharge. This was very light and only visible after wiping on some occasions of going to the toilet, not even heavy enough for a panty liner. I only experienced this for two days. I did a preganancy test day after period due and a week following that, both were negative. I continued on taking my contraceptive pil (loestrin30).
I then misssed my next period (due 9th November), I had a very very slight discharge once on 9th after wiping, and then absolutely nothing. I again carried out a pregnancy test (10th), which was negative.
This week I have begun experiencing slight twinges (which I am sure I am conjuring/imagining! ) inmy lower abdomen.
My partner and I only had sex once in between the first and second missed period.
    My periods are very regular.
    Thanks

Make sure you are taking the pregnancy tests using first morning urine. Also, it may be possible that you are pregnant, but the HPTs aren't picking up the hormone. A blood test may be in order.

There also may be a problem with your form of birth control.. it may not be working right for you. A visit to the doctor to discuss this would be in your best interest.

    Thanks for this.

I have been on this pill for quite a while (at the very least three years) and although the flow/colour of period varies between light and heavy, it is still what can be distiguished as period; never in my life have I not had one (I was prescribed the pill when I was young, 13, to help combat extremely heavy and painful periods, although I have been on a few different pill's over the years, now 26) which was non-existent, which I suppose adds to my worries.
I called the Dr surgery who advised to wait until a third missed period, but now I think I am imgaining things! I am continuing to take the contraceptive pill, and if I am honest, I don't think I am preganant, and definitely don't have symptoms that others have mentioned such as nausea, breast tenderness etc.
