There was a person who kept calling me and saying rude things on the phone. I called the cops and asked them what they could do about it and they said to contact my phone company. I called Metro PCS and they told me that there is no way they could get the number of the person who was calling me. Is there any way that I could get that number from anywhere else? They are making frightning threats.

If your cell provider can't provide you with the number there is no other way you are going to get said number. You do have the option of changing your number.
