Hair dyed too light - any fading suggestions?
Hi I am naturally a brunette and recently went into the hairdresser to have some blonde streaks put in. Anyway I came out really blonde and I was wondering if there was a way to fade this colour so my natural colour shows through more?

I have heard Head and Shoulders Shampoo helps? I don't want to do anything too dramatic or that will cause long term damage to my hair.

    Thanks :)

Do you mean the streaks are too blond, or they bleached your whole head blond?

If you mean the streaks are too blond, then you could use a rinse to tone them down without doing too much damage.

Yeah the streaks are too blonde, so much so that I now look blonde. I have a full fringe as well and it just looks bizarre especially because there are stripes of my brown hair that show through.. its like tiger striped.

What type of rinse do you mean?

They have several semi permanent rinses now that could all do the job, the problem is finding a colour that will offset the blond bits. I wouldn't go back to the salon, but pick a good beauty supply/pharmacy where you are and ask the girls there. If they are anything as knowledgeable as the ones I have here, then you will get good advice.
