    Heat in bathroom mandatory?
Does a bathroom have to have heat in a rental property in MD. The rest of the house has water baseboard heat, but not the two bathrooms.

No, it doesn't have to have heat, but it certainly is more comfortable. You can, however, plug in a heater when you are using the bathroom.

I know of no rule on this, you may ask the local code inforcement if there are any local laws.

Thank you. I will check the code further to see, but sometimes the government gives you the run-around. I know heat in the bathroon is more comfortable... and I want to do unto others as I want done unto me... so I found a plug-in heater from Brookstone that looks good.
