    Assistance with RETAIL MATH
I have been racking my brain trying to solve a word equation regarding finding out the CRA% when only the NS$ and GS$ are give.

An example of the type of question I'm working on is below:

If the net sales of a department were $16,225 and the gross sales were $18,000, what would be the CRA%?

I have tried Using the formula: CRA%=CRA$/GS$ but that doesn't seem to fit. I do not understand what I am supposed to be doing. I know that if the CRA and GS are know you can find out the NS and that if the NS$ and the CRA% are know that you can find out the GS$.

    Please help!

You're missing the obvious. Is there a reason you can't figure out CRA from having gross and net sales?
