    Properties of hexacyanoferrote 3 ion
Properties of hexacyanoferrote 3 ion and phenolphtalein in the experiment to show that a metal ionises in aqueous solution

That hexacyanoferrate (III) ion turns pink or purple in the presence of ions. I don't know for other metals, but we use that property in experiments of rusting iron.

The phenolphtalein only indicates the presence of ions in the solution.

And, it's "hexacyanoferrate(III)". Not "...ferrote" or "ferricyanide" (boy, what an awful name is that?).

Oops, Perito, you did a tiny typo there, lol!

    'hexacyahoferrate' instead of 'hexacyanoferrate'

You mean an "h" isn't an "n". They sort of look the same -- and they're in the same column on the keyboard -- well, the right index finger hits them both.

    Oh well.

And there he goes repeating your mistake, surely by copy-pasting what you just said :p

    Well, Kevishen, is it OK?
